Will Smith has scored a small legal victory in a sexual harassment case after a California judge dismissed some of the key claims against him.
The suit was brought by violinist Brian King Joseph, who accused Smith and his team of wrongdoing during preparations for a tour.
He also claimed he felt unsafe during parts of the process and raised concerns about what was happening behind the scenes.
But now a judge has looked into the case and said that some of the allegations do not clearly show sexual misconduct by Will.
The court also said that a few parts of the complaint do not have enough strong particulars to support them.
Because of this, those parts of the case have been dismissed for now.
However, Brian still has a chance to amend and resubmit his complaint within 30 days if he wishes to proceed.
Brian also shared claims of strange incidents during the trip, including a hotel room situation that left him feeling uneasy.
He later spoke publicly about raising security concerns. Furthermore, the star’s legal team has vehemently denied all allegations.
They say the allegations are false and have vowed to fight the case in court.
So far, the case is still not completely over, but this ruling has given Will Smith an early legal boost.
